We were very happy with the service we received from WH Cox for our recent removal service. They were friendly, diligent and professional throughout. Thanks ever so much for the work you did!

  • An excellent experience with WH Cox and in particular Brian and Russell. No damaged belongings and a quick, efficient turnaround both at loading and unloading. Polite and knowledgeable, they made the moving process a whole lot less stressful

  • What a great team....so helpful on the phone was Jan today. The lads today were so careful with a delivery I had and came in smiling and nothing was too much trouble all round.

We had a few damage bits but when travelling nearly 500 miles that's not too bad. Brian is one of the best guys on the team. He worked extremely hard and is woth his weight in gold. He definitely needs a pay rise.

We are an Irish removals business and we removed goods from here for a customer of ours. These guys are very friendly, professional and their access is exceptional. They also provided a hand for us to load our vans. Will hope to work with them in the future.

I was very impressed with the Amersham Team who helped us move last week. They were such a lovely helpful bunch and made a stressful situation quite pleasant! People are always quick to complain but don’t often get around to complimenting a service well done. I honestly could not fault how brilliant the team were. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked hard and quick. I still can't quite believe what they achieved in such a short space of time. A special thanks to Carol, Brian, James & Jordan for making our move so easy. I strongly recommend this company.

As a prominent jewellery retailer in Beaconsfield for 34 years, I do understand the principles of caring for a client’s precious possessions. Unfortunately, Cox’s Removals did not show the same respect or caring for our property. We moved from our five bedroom home of thirty years in Beaconsfield on the 16th August 2021. In hindsight I should have called a halt to proceedings on the day when two of the four man crew transpired to be sons of the Director on school holidays. When at 4.00pm we had not completed the loading, the new owner, on her third visit to take possession of the property, began accusing me of trespass. The stress and physical excursion from working flat out helping to load, so as to get away from the intimidation; made me feel very unwell. Well, finally we were off but OH DEAR the damage…to our dining room table, my grandfather’s swing top table and media cabinet plus the upset of seeing how in some cases, things had just being thrown in the boxes. We bought the insurance against damage offered by Cox’s…DO NOT BOTHER. We didn’t read the small print - not new for old and will only repair or offer a second hand value. Also, to date the matter has still not been settled nor is likely to be. Andre de Marsac

Cox & Son just recently moved us to Herefordshire. From first contact with Carol to moving day, everyone was very helpful. We had a fantastic removal team Brian, Paul, Tom, Jim & Mark. They were polite, helpful and worked incredibly hard. Well done everyone and a big thank you to you all.

Initial experience of quotation and helpfulness dealing with the office was very good. On the day, the removals guys did a pretty good job, however, the mishandled our dressing table and dropped it - causing it to be damaged beyond repair. To be fair the guys were honest enough to admit and accept liability and even reported it back to the office before telling us what they had done. They said it will be fine - as the insurance will cover it. However, once we got a price to replace the said dressing table (£1578) and submitted the claim to their insurance company (Removals Claims Services based in Leatherhead) this proved not to be the case. The insurer offered us to settle at £250 - as they said the insurance only covered what the second hand price of the article would have been prior to damage (apparently written in the small print!). We are unable to repair the item or to replace it as we are left short to the tune of over £1300. So, please be aware of the insurance policy coverage provided because if anything is damaged then it will be very difficult to get the full money back. It wouldn't have been an issue for a small low-value item - but this item cost nearly as much as the total removal cost!
