We are a small, family-run business providing a full range of removals and storage services in Ireland and the UK. Once a man & van service, we now operate a modern fleet of purpose built and fully equipped removal vehicles including 18t HGV’s.
Over the last decade we are proud to have gained a reputation of excellence for our removals services including our weekly service between Ireland and the UK.

We used VK removals to transport and store our belongings from Scotland to Ireland. The overall experience was really positive. Very easy to contact and any questions we had were answered promptly (and there were many!) Sarah picked up and delivered our things & was so helpful. Would definitely use again & highly recommend. The only negative thing to say is that there were a few scratches on different items of furniture/sofas so would have been good if certain pieces could have been wrapped.
From start to the delivery of our house items from UK to Ireland the whole VK team were brilliant . They were clean with all communication,- answered all questions over email within a day. We particularly valued their help and responsiveness with the customs paperwork for brexit. The driver and team moving the stuff were great, doing a drop off on two areas for us , one storage and one house and getting everything bang on. They kept in touch with us about arrival and drop off times.They made the move much less stressful than moving can be, all went very smooth. I had such a great experience with this company. Extremely helpful from the get go, normally moving and packing is a stressful process. However I had zero stress using this company. I was moving from Liverpool city centre to Rock, Co.Tyrone, Northern Ireland. They were easy to contact, I knew exactly what was happening and when they would be arriving. I had contact from the driver and the company at all times. Vinny answered any enquiries immediately and made me feel at ease. It arrived in the Rock in superb condition with no issues. 5 star experience, would definitely recommend and I will definitely be using again!!

Have just used VK to move from South Coast of UK to Mayo. Cannot fault them at all. Vinnie & Karen were so helpful, made the customs process a breeze. Sarah and Jurus were amazing - extremely efficient! We had more than we originally thought we would and the guys were fantastic, just kept tabs on the inventory and adjusted the invoice, no drama. VK Removals helped me moved from South Coast in England to Tyrone and they were fantastic. Really professional and Sarah kept n contact with me the whole way through. The team who were moved were very efficient and had to take down and move some very heavy furniture, including one concrete and one marble table. I will hopefully not have to move for another while, but if I did, I have no hesitation in using VK removals again!
Recently used VK Removals to transport furniture from Hertfordshire to Limerick. The service was amazing from start to finish. A big shout out to Karen for arranging this at very short notice. This company are brilliant. They recently moved furniture from my house in Belfast, to that of my parents in Essex. My father came down with an infection which meant a number of last minute hospital appointments. Sarah and Philip did our move back in 2018 and they were absolutely fantastic. I've been meaning to leave a review on here for the last 2 years but kept on forgetting.
Anyway, they were great and very accommodating when it transpired we had actually underestimated the size of the move, meaning they had to come back and do it in two moves.

We recently got Vk removals to help us out with our move from London to Letterkenny. Vinnie was very helpful and answered all my queries. Our move was during the pandemic and we were worried about getting our stuff home but vks was by far the most reasonable and great value we found out there. They came to collect our stuff on the sunday and we had it all in Letterkenny on the tuesday morning. Dorchester to County Tyrone
We moved in the middle of the Covid 19 crisis and found the team extremely professional. Originally dealing with Karen, all packing material arrived and on the day 2 very helpful young men worked extremely hard, taking great care with our belongings. When the lorry arrived at our new home we were delighted to see the same faces and they went above and beyond the call of duty. Vinnie came and met us, very friendly and professional. Highly recommended .

I had a beautiful chest of drawers delivered today from England to N. Ireland .
I was contacted in the morning to ask if I would be in , and then again an hr
before my delivery. Great customer service!, Sarah said it would be delivered around 12
And at 11.59 their van arrived into my drive. Sarah and Gerard then proceeded to lift the chest out and deliver it into my home . It was not only wrapped up with bubble wrap but with a great big blanket too.
They were so nice and friendly and very careful with my delivery. I will definitely use them again in the near future . Thank you Sarah and Gerard.

Irish Countryside Move
This is a bit of late review but better late than never. Sarah, Shea, Jamie and Aidan turned up early to our house (fortunately on a cold but dry November day), awaiting our house contents arrival from southern England. It eventually turned up in such a massive truck which filled the road, luckily Sarah guided the truck driver up next door's driveway, as no one was actually living there and they decanted our possessions smoothly and professionally into their lorries and then into our new home in the middle of the countryside in Northern Ireland. What a great young team, so energetic and thoughtful. Thanks Team VK you were excellent and if we hadn't have had our possessions in storage locally to where we used to live, we would have used you to move us completely.

What a fantastic team, Sarah, Shay and Manuel!! Thank you for your hard work on Wednesday 18th Dec, what a day to move, gale winds and lashing rain but you all pushed on through it! For anyone reading this I recommend this team highly, they are energetic, very fast, professional etc. Every item was handled with care, they strapped wardrobes, covered mattresses, they even had stair coverings to protect the carpet on my new house!! This team done in 5 hours, what others would have taken 7 or 8! Not a mark on anything, furniture or walls!! I'm so impressed and grateful, Thanks folks.

This is the second time I've used VK removals to move some boxes and furniture from Northern Ireland to mainland UK. Karen provided an excellent service and everything was delivered perfectly by the driver, Sarah, who kept me updated about when she would arrive yesterday. London To Kilkenny And Back Again with VK Removals
This is the second time we've used VK Removals, having moved to Kilkenny from London last year for a work contract, and back again this year. They were faultless then - they're faultless now! Vinnie and Karen are really communicative and beyond helpful and Sarah, the driver and mover, took excellent care of our belongings and took time to cheer up our toddler, who had a cold this time around. Cambridge to Dublin
We've moved house seven times in the last 10 years and using VK removals was by far the smoothest & easiest experience. We used VK Removals to go from Cambridge to Dublin and had great support from the office staff and Sarah & her team. Our items arrived before we did and were all placed into rooms. Nothing damaged in transit! Great service would use them again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely faultless service. I needed to have a small apartment's worth of belongings moved from a storage unit in Wandsworth in London to my parents house in Cork and as this was my first time using a removal company, I was very apprehensive. Both Vinnie and Karen were excellent in terms of arrangements and answering my many queries. The cost of the move was very competitive and date and times of collection were very flexible.
Sarah was the driver and she was fantastic! Her communication was excellent prior to collection. She loaded everything up and wrapped my furniture and other items carefully, I had no concerns whatsoever about all of my stuff.
She collected on Saturday and delivered everything on Wednesday without a hitch. Again, communication was excellent prior to the drop off and my parents were delighted with her service on their side.
I will definitely use VK again and I will be recommending them to anyone I know making a move. Don't hesitate to contact them!
Move from England to Northern Ireland
Excellent company! From start to finish, communication with Vinnie and Karen was spot on. Collection of all our boxes and furniture in Essex was done efficiently by Sarah, who also delivered everything safe and sound to our new home in Belfast. Even with very short notice, everything has been done on time, professionally and with a smile!
