Or we can bring the container to you, for you to pack and for us, using our specialised container vehicle, to uplift again and store, safely in our secure purpose-built building until you need it again.

What an excellent service from everyone at Thistle. They made the 600 mile move as stress-free as possible, and they went above and beyond to do everything they could to help out. Ross and Chris also took my car in the lorry and my cat in the cab with them, which was such a great help to us both. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Buckie to Blackpool
Our delivery was from Buckie to Blackpool and we had a phone call to give us an e.t.a which was 6.30 pm. With it being a bank holiday, they arrived, understandably late due to traffic on M6, at approx 7.15 pm. Both of the delivery men were very nice, chatty and very helpful. The service we received was excellent and very good value. We would highly recommend this firm.

Thistle was able to perfectly fit with our dates for the 600 mile move. We could not believe how calm, patient & cheerful they were over every little thing. Meriden ( Solihull) to Findochty Can’t fault the move Chris & Matt couldn’t have done any more for us Kept us informed of their progress to get to us on the day before the move. Arrived on time on the day. We’re two really nice guys who went above and beyond, to help us and to make the 489 mile trip go without a hitch. Arrived on time and as planned the next day to reverse the process and empty the lorry into our new house. Cannot fault Ross and his guys. Thistle Removals were fantastic in helping me move out, store my items and deliver my items at my new address. I used the self packing. I was delivered trailers as I needed them and this was always quick. Their removal was as quick. In my new address I found all my items appeared undisturbed in the crates, no damage. The trailers were delivered and removed speedily. The service is more than helpful. I recommend them 100%.
Stress free move
Very friendly and efficient. Good communication before move-arrived on time. This is our second move with Thistle and we would use them again. We also know several others who have used them.

Ross and his boys did everything they could to make my move painless and efficient. This was the second time I have used Thistle. My previous house was difficult to access but they managed the "road" easily both times. They were extremely resourceful when it came to difficult items and never once complained about the ridiculous quantity of boxes. I would recommend them to anyone who asks; indeed I already have!

Difficult House Move made easy
Thistle Removals offered me an excellent service, during a very difficult time of coming out of lockdown and going through a separation which was far from amicable!! Thistle had not problems with helping me when I had to change my moving date a few times, which was a massive relief for me. Chris and the guys arrived on the day and blasted through the items which had to be removed for storage. I can begin to thank the whole team for their efforts and help, a house move is difficult enough but under these circumstances Thistle were amazing - thank you all would definitely recommend you and use you again.

The help, advise and peace of mind the service provided by Thistle Removals is excellent. In such a stressful, quick changing time that house moving is, its great to have calm, helpful service, which is what they offer. Nothing seemed too much trouble, including help me shift my heavy goods (even though I was packing my own trailer). The trailers are clean, dry and well equipped with padding and blankets as needed. They were very prompt in delivering the trailers and as quick to remove them when packed.First class service.

December removal
Despite my removal date changing several times due to legal complications Thistle Removals came to carry out my removal with only one days notice.
They emptied my old house quickly and efficiently then transported everything to my new house and again emptied their lorry in the same efficient manner, delivering everything to the room of my choice.
Although I have no intention of moving house again, if I did, I would certainly use Thistle Removals.
I would recommend to anyone wishing a good old fashioned service, where the Customer is King, Thistle Removals is the Company to use.

From the initial phone call right up to the removal had finished every member of the team were very polite, courteous and helpful. Nothing was ever a problem and they packed up carefully and move all our belongings to our new home without a single issue (other than the rain ....and it poured down the day we moved in). Would highly recommend.
Excellent Thistle Removals
Excellent service provided by this company. They went out of their way to accommodate us and meet our needs. Arrived on time, quickly loaded the lorry and how they got all our stuff into it I’ll never know. Left the lorry unloaded in their safe lock-up overnight and quickly unloaded at our new house next day. Lorry was expertly loaded and unloaded so not as much as a teacup was scratched. Price charged was very competitive and we would certainly use them again.

Best experience for our relocation
We have had an excellent experience using Thistle Removals. They arrived early to start loading, which was especially helpful as we were moving from England. We're courteous and friendly throughout, went out of their way to help us even if it wasn't part of their job.
They held our items in secure storage for a number of months (at a very reasonable rate) and were always readily available should we have needed access.
Can't recommend them highly enough, by far the best value for money too.
