TERRIBLE company to deal with! It was recommended through a friend and I had them booked and paid my deposit. I then had an issue and couldnt move on the agreed date and wanted to change to a different date(during the same week where there was availability). Marcin refused to rebook without claiming the deposit and called it a cancellation fee. I could not understand why he kept calling it a cancellation fee and not be accommodating to my circumstance. I had not signed a contract or anything and so they are a bunch of THIEVES. I went elsewhere and told him to take his 140 and I would rather not ever deal with them again. UPDATE: I cannot change this review because it is honest and my preference was to hire a new company that charged slightly more but was genuine. After all, Marcin did decide to claim the deposit even though he had another free day available but still wanted to charge for it, so why stick with him. Its all about understanding your customers and being accommodating, its not a one way road.

Professional and courteous
Professional and courteous. From giving me an estimate, packing and delivering and collecting boxes for recycling, Kings Removals did it all. An excellent team led by Marcin. I would recommend them.
King Removals was really great. They were super professional and very cautious with our things. However, we were charged an "excess" because the move went beyond 6 PM. I still give them 5-stars as this is most likely my fault - I didn't read the small print. But they do charge extra for early mornings and evenings and late night moves, FYI. Had I known, we would have just started our move earlier.
Used this company twice. Excellent service by Costy however not happy with response from company. I was initially told they could not help the second time as they already had a job on that morning however they later accepted as they knew from the first time that it would be finished quickly. In total, it took 1h30 to complete the job. Despite this, they still insisted on charging for 3 hours because we had travelled over 5 miles. When I messaged and said this was not very fair particularly since the journey was less than 6 miles, I was told in a very short email that all charges applied. There was no flexibility and they did not stay after the 1h30 to help me unpack or offer further support despite me having paid for a 3 hour service. I found this quite disappointing and would have expected more gentlemanly conduct. Make sure you check all the extra charges carefully at the bottom of quotation!
Awful service and the branding on all…
Awful service and the branding on all the vans says Trust Pilot 5/5 stars which is wrong.Marcin was very happy to take the booking without qualifying and estimating properly.The removal men were good but were obviously micro managed and being bullied by Marcin.At the end of the day he demanded cash payment and was extremely rude and aggressive. He was very clear and articulate when he was speaking on the phone, but when I was talking the signal suddenly went bad.He wanted cash to evade declaring income I'm assuming. Cowboys. Never use again.
Marcin and his team helped us move our 89 year old mum 250 miles from London to The Pennines. Everything went without a hitch, from Marcin’s initial visit to quote for the job to placing Mum’s furniture in my house. A brilliant job - would not hesitate to use them again.
We used Marcin and his team for our move from a rented property back to our house after rennovations. The team were on time, worked quickly and got the job done to a high standard. Would use again and highly recommend.
Marcin has helped us a few times now up in park lane, a top guy so if your looking to move in his area I would highly recommend

They also offer a lot of extra services. ie installing washing machines and assembling furniture. Make a stressful move really easy. Absolutely recommend.
