Well, that was easy! I needed a piano moved upstairs from my kitchen downstairs. This was one of those things I’ve been meaning to organise for a while. Kosh replied my request very quickly and did a survey. The piano wouldn’t fit round the corner of the stairs. So they organised a crane and had it lifted up within a couple of days through an upstairs window. I wish I’d got this done years ago! Thank you again.
Having contacted J & JW Morris for our move was the best decision I could have made. We’ve hired other Removal Companies in the past but none compare to J & JW Morris 10/10
Used Morris Removals and was very pleased with the service. The move could not have gone any smoother. All enquiries were responded to and clarified promptly and knowledgeably. Then on the actual move day, the team were excellent! Quick, courteous, professional, mindful of both properties and belongings. Would happily recommend them to other people.
I couldn’t be more complimentary about this company. We’ve moved house 3 times in the past 2 years and have been lucky enough to have used J & WJ Morris Removals on each occasion. They were great to deal with in the run up to each move; professional, friendly, helpful and incredibly good value too. The team that arrived on the removal day each time were also friendly and extremely hard working meaning that they got the job done in good time. Avoid at all cost, this company is charged me way too much for a piano removal job and didn’t get the job done. When asked for a partial refund refused. The behaviour of the manager was very rude towards women.
I called these guys in a panic when my other option fell through. They were absolutely fantastic - got me a removal slot secured quickly and the guys on the day were outstanding. Very highly recommended!
I was extremely impressed with this lot. Originally I had approached them to move a piano out of my fifth floor flat, which I knew would be a very tricky and labour intensive job down many sets of stairs. They quoted far less than I was expecting after looking at photos of the building, and were flexible on arrangements. Then, at short notice, our new house purchase fell through, meaning we had a whole flat's worth of stuff that suddenly needed to go into storage while we found somewhere to rent. In the midst of all this stress, Kosh, their admin guy, didn't miss a beat and said they could do the lot, explaining how they would come with containers and keep everything packed that way for as long as necessary, for a reasonable weekly fee. Arriving promptly on the day, they set about things methodically and provided extra wrapping for some of the more fragile items, such as large mirrors. When it came to the piano, extra personnel turned up with a van and they mummified it completely before managing the daunting process of getting it down to the street with various gurneys. It probably took about an hour and I gave them a round of applause. I've had previous experiences with companies who overcharge and seem to exaggerate the scale of the task, whereas this team come with the attitude that there's no problem too difficult to solve, and also charge really fairly. They even helped lug a heavy sofa down which we weren't taking with us (and which got snapped up from the kerb by someone that evening, just as we'd hoped). Major customer satisfaction here – I would definitely use them again for any future house move.
These guys are just brilliant! I cannot recommend them enough. There is nothing more stressful than moving to a new place, but they made it all so easy for us. From the minute they arrived they worked extremely hard and professional. They were genuinely happy helping us and always had a smile on their face, although we had some very heavy and fragile mirrored furniture. They wrapped them up very carefully before moving them. We had not one broken item. I was worried because we had our new flat just painted 4 days before the moving date, but I shouldn't have. They didn’t left any stains anywhere as they were extremely careful when carrying our items. I'm very happy we hired them. They were incredible. Amazing value, great guys and an excellent service. We used these guys for the second time recently. Excellent group of guys moving us, worked really hard and they were very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Great service. They were very efficient and considerate, both packing and then on the day of the move. They took care of everything, but still checked with us about any objects they weren't sure of. They charge market rates, but you're glad of it because you get a full team of professionals and you feel safe. Fully recommended
We went with them on the recommendation of friends, and haven't regretted it. Money well spent. We had moved a lot of stuff ourselves, but still had quite a lot to move, including bulky furniture. The loading only took 2 hours, and that was with the utmost care being taken with our belongings. At the other end, the unloading was completed in an hour. This definitely took a lot of pressure off us, and I would highly recommend using the company
WOW! These guys were absolutely amazing! They turned up on time and did a fantastic job packing and unpacking at the other end. They were so calm, cheerful, and polite throughout. I'd been dreading the move, but J & WJ Morris went out of their way to make it as pain-free as possible. I cannot recommend them enough!
