Helpful Movers are a highly experienced team of removal persons. Having worked in various other removal companies found out that a lot of them either did not offer good customer service, or mishandled their customer’s items. We identified a niche market, one which encompassed excellent customer service, professional removal services and unsurpassed care for our customer’s items.
Our business is entirely centred around the customer in mind, from the first call, then a survey of your property or items right up to the quotation, removal and packing supplies, we aim to offer you an outstanding level of service like none other.

Domestic Removals
To help you budget for your moving day, we can complete a free pre-move home survey to provide you with an accurate moving quote. We offer a free survey with one of our expert removals estimator prior to providing you with a written home removals quote.
Man and Van
We are a team of highly experienced personnel and are ready with your removals, be it a full house, a flat or just a few items. We will carefully pack, move, dismantle and reassemble any large furniture. We will ensure that the complete process is conducted smoothly and safely.
Office Removals
Our Office Removal specialists ensure that there is minimal downtime to your business, and we can work during weekends and holidays too. We handle with utmost care, your IT equipment, your office furniture and any personal effects. We will also take care of parking of our vans at your premises.
Packing Material
Our boxes are strong and sturdy, our bubble wrap is soft and durable and our packing paper is thick and stable. Whatever your needs, we can supply packing material which are not only of high quality, but are also competitively priced. We can deliver packing supplies ahead of your move.
Packing Service
We offer a full range of packing and unpacking services to suit your individual requirements. Our fully trained packing staff are experts in specialist packing techniques from everything from everyday clothes and bed linen to fine china and antiques.
Disposal
If you have any items that do not need to moved and would require clearing into disposal, we will do it for you. We have formed alliances with local councils to either recycle or safely dispose off your items.
International Removals
Whether you are moving to Europe or on the other side of the world, our International Removals experts will plan your move meticulously to ensure you have a smooth and stress free experience. From export packing and moving to shipping, custom clearing and unpacking at the other end - we do it all for you!
Storage

Helpful Movers did an excellent job moving us to our new home. The day-before-moving packing service was a great help, with all required boxes and equipment supplied, and a huge amount of work done to pack things from the delicate and valuable to old bits of junk. Things were carefully wrapped and, when we unpacked, we found that nothing was damaged at all. We would have found this very hard to achieve by ourselves. The day of the move went without a hitch, packed up completely by 11am and moved in between 2pm and 5pm. The team are a friendly bunch and are flexible when things change during the process. All in all, an excellent, good-value-for-money service. Well done!
Genuinely couldn’t recommend Helpful Movers enough. They were incredible. We had a full packing service and then removals service the following day. They were on time, friendly, professional and really understanding of our situation as we were moving with newborn twins. The quotation was provided quickly, there were no additional fees and all the packing equipment was provided. I’m so grateful - moving house with babies could have been awful but you made it as smooth as possible. Thank you.
I booked these guys to help pack and move into my new home. It was a last minute move and I've got a 1 year old baby and 2 year old toddler, so not that much chance to prepare on my side. The service I received was absolutely terrible, really shockingly bad. When they showed up they were a bit curt and rude, but I paid no notice at first, as I hadn't booked them for their conversation. The packing was disastrous. None of the big furniture items was wrapped/protected. Drawers and doors weren't secured. Items, including clearly fragile items and open containers, were just thrown into boxes. At first I thought they were just incompetent, but it got to the point where I think it was actually malicious. Furniture was repeatedly banged and dropped causing damage to the items and the property. They were that bad that one of them actually managed to seriously hurt himself. When it came to the actual move, it transpired that they had actually missed an entire room (the kitchen, not some hidden cupboard). They were already way behind on schedule, and they had already caused so much damage that I decided to deal with the kitchen myself and let them crack on. It took them more than 2 hours to make the 30 minutes journey. The unloading was equally as chaotic with stuff being bashed and dropped, and they repeatedly ignored requests to put boxes in specific rooms, choosing instead the nearest ones. They were extremely unprofessional, asking lots of personal questions. All in all an appalling dreadful experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Really heartbreaking to see your stuff being so badly mishandled.
Helpful Movers were absolutely brilliant. The team did a brilliant job throughout a very long day due to our completion being delayed. Absolutely amazing company! From the start with a very good quote from the owner to the delivery of our belongings, everything was smooth and perfect! Jay and Ben were so efficient in starting to fill their truck, we didn’t see time passing. Then, Connor and Charlie finished loading the next day, delivered and unload everything into our new house perfectly! They were amazing gentlemen with an excellent sense of humour! I highly recommend them!
Couldn't be happier with Helpful Movers. Everyone I have interacted with in this company has been professional and very friendly. The move itself was efficient and they took all the correct precautions to keep my stuff safe. The price was also lower than other removals places had quoted, so I'll admit I was a little surprised. I won't name and shame but I have had poor experience with a different Bristol based removals and am very happy I went with these guys.
This has been an amazingly easy experience!!! The office staff was wonderful helping with my needs and questions prior to moving day. Then three WONDERFUL movers came EARLY to my home and were as thorough, caring, and efficient as I could have imagined. They took excellent care of everything in my home including a grand father clock, large dining room hutch, piano, and so much more. I couldn't have asked for better care if I tried. Coast to Coast move with Helpful Movers . I just had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Helpful Movers. I had one visit early on at my request to assess the move. That was already an excellent help as Gil explained exactly how much each object would cost to move as we went through the house so I could make good decisions. I received an immediate quote and a 100% guaranteed move date. I also received a list of items not to pack for a move. Move day came and the team took such good care of my more fragile belongings even noticing the cane backed chairs, which they wrapped in blankets and cardboard. My shipment was being delivered to two different locations and I had marked each part of the shipment with different colors. When it was delivered in Oregon not a box was in the wrong place!! I was able to request a delivery window too and Ron and his team did a fantastic job of communication and delivery to both locations. Most impressive of all, the team did not leave until I personally spoke to Gil who had originally arranged my move to make sure I was completely satisfied with the service. I certainly was more than satisfied. If you are looking for movers I strongly recommend!
I recently used Helpful Movers. The two men who came were pleasant, however, did not share a common language therefore communication was limited. The move took hours (I live in a 1 bedroom flat and it took them 4hours to load the van), watching my furniture get moved was scary & there was a lack of care over fragile items. My bike has been damaged, there was no padding used & the company has taken my money & refused to accept responsibility. Avoid.
Helpful Movers did a great job moving me across the bridge to the eastern shore. They were on time, professional, and courteous. They really knew what they were doing and hustled, but not so much that they were reckless. They even finished an hour earlier than estimated time. Everything arrived in good shape - nothing broken or damaged. Jose and Fernando and crew were great and I would recommend Helpful Movers for your next move.
We had a wonderful experience with Helpful Movers USA from the start of the 1st phone call with Amy in the office. She was friendly, caring and professional and answered all our questions and was very responsive when we needed her. The crew that loaded the moving truck took great care with our belongings. Anything that needed extra care was wrapped with detailed attention. They were efficient and made excellent lists of what went into the truck. My daughter used them and had a great experience and that’s why we used them and are very happy we did.
The men themselves that come out are very capable, and they make sure your belongings are safe and loaded efficiently. These gents have disassembled and reassembled beds etc, and they pay attention to detail. Some additional information on the guys we’ve dealt with, they are professional and yet very approachable. We have a great deal of respect for these guys, they work very hard and yet continue to have a sense of humor as they work. We consider these guys family and wouldn’t hesitate to call them if needed
Helpful Movers was very professional, courteous,and answered every question or concern without delay. The packing team was great! Very efficient and cared about my house goods as if they were their own. Driver was incredible and gave us every detail of how our move would go and it happened just that way. Would definitely recommend this company and would use them again in a heart beat!
I do 4 TOY DRIVES a year for kids battling cancer and Helpful Movers has always been there for me to help delivery the toys to the hospitals. They are always on time and always willing to help What an amazing experience and I'm so happy they are the official moving company with my charity.
