I was very happy with Charles Wood's removal service, they arrived exactly on time, the worked quickly and efficiently and the packing service was amazing, everything was wrapped, packed and loaded into the lorry really safely. The guys performing the removal were also very helpful, polite and professional.
Charles Wood were excellent. They couldn’t have been more helpful for our move and most importantly for us, they handled our possessions with care. We recommended them to everyone.
We contacted Charles Wood & Sons regarding help with large household items including a corner sofa and they were able to fit us in with very little notice. Fantastic communication, service and lovely, professional staff that carried out the work. We will most definitely be using this business again and thoroughly recommend them.
Great experience with the lads. We used them back in september 2022. Very reasonable prices compared to the competition and were very cheerful even though they had to requisition another van at the last minute to accommodate my girlfriends ridiculous amount of plant pots! Unlike some of the larger removals companies, they actually came round to the house to estimate the size of our possessions instead of forcing us to download some stupid app and give them a video tour of our whole property... (Pickfords, I'm looking at you). We had a couple of items broken during removal, but it was my fault for not packing them properly! Recommended

From start to finish everyone at Charles Woods made the stressful moving process so much easier! The guys were reliable, experienced, friendly and efficient, and we felt that we (and all our belongings) were in very safe hands. When we felt overwhelmed they were amazing at guiding us through the move, and taking charge while still being very respectful. They took time to double check where we wanted everything, and worked like troopers! They went above and beyond what we expected. The office staff were also super friendly and helpful, being endlessly flexible when the dates kept changing. They even took empty boxes over to my partners work to make life easier for us prior to the move. I very highly recommend this company, 10/10!
Very unprofessional service and at this point wouldn't recommend to anyone. Items damaged, items not assembled properly (left screws and etc. shoved in drawers they didn't want to put on), writing on a wardrobe with black permanent marker for reassembly, left their breakfast rubbish on the floor, used our personal items like tools and stepladders to do their job. One member of staff didn't seem like they wanted to do anything and when did was very rough with items. Very stressful and frustrating and so far in regards to getting resolved not getting anywhere serious...
The team who did the move were great. However, they had a mishap that resulted in damage to a piece of furniture. They apologized and told us to get in touch with their boss. The location of the damage made meant that it was not visible, so with all the busyness of a move we never got around to contacting the office. If I had received an email apology, I would have rated them 4*.
A five star service for an exceptional price. Thank you guys for taking all the stress out of my move. Would highly recommend this company
I can't thank the team enough for their help with my mother's house move recently. Although she was only moving locally it wasn't an easy move, there was lots of stuff left unpacked and 2 lorries of stuff that went in opposite directions. They managed everything wonderfully, everything ended up where we wanted it to be and the guys even unpacked and repacked a whole storage unit to fit everything in, which I felt was above and beyond. They helped make what was a very stressful day a little bit less stressful with their calm and efficient manner and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.
Excellent Service relating to our move from Thame Oxfordshire to Devizes in Wiltshire. Great service from the office team from estimate to completion. The team could not be more helpful, making what would normally be a stressful part of the process when moving. Carried out very efficiently without any stress. We have a lot of respect for the guys who worked very hard to complete the move, Well packed, even the garden, garage and shed items. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to move.
