We moved with Cavendish and Country mid-June last month. From start to finish, the service was top notch. Damian came and viewed our two bed flat in London and discussed the services they could offer. We went for the full packing service and just made our lives SO much easier, especially with two young children. Packing took place over two days and C&C moved us up to North Oxfordshire. We also had an electrician take down two ceiling lights as part of the service. All the furniture was made back up again - table, bed, cot, sofa - again, made our lives so much easier. Nothing broke and it was all so well packed and taken care of. I have no complaints whatsoever and would absolutely recommend again!
Cavendish and Country Removals are a professional and truly engaging company. Nick will work with you from the quotation stage to completion. The team have fantastic people! Look out for Norbert, he is a top class guy, nothing is too much trouble for them. He and his team went way beyond the call of duty and whilst they are not cheap, the team is vetted and they run a tight ship. Why would you not want a team of people that you can totally trust with your prized possessions. They packed priceless art along with the kitchen contents beautifully - no compromise on using the correct packaging for items. They pointed out anything that was chipped or damaged before packing, were thorough in the process and I would recommend them very highly and certainly will use them again! Thank you Nick and Norbert, you run a great ship!
Cavendish & Country recently moved us from Streatham to rural Kent over two days. The team were so efficient, hard working and polite. They made the whole process not stressful, even (borderline) fun! Everything was packed well and put in the right room making unpacking easy and they picked up the boxes within a few days to be reused. We were super impressed, from day 1 survey through to completion we had a single point of contact with Damian, he even popped in during the packing process to check we were happy. All the team, including the office, were easy and helpful to deal with.
We recently moved out of London and following a few quotes selected Cavendish based on their competitive offer and also online reviews. This proved to be the perfect decision as Cavendish made what could have easily been a couple of stressful days into something very easy and efficient! From the outset Damian was friendly, helpful and professional - he planned to visit us for an in person survey which was the only offer we had for one with all other companies wanting to do video surveys. Was just some bad luck that he called me 30 minutes before and apologised profusely that his car wouldn’t start! Still he conducted an expert video survey for us and shared a quote same day. We moved over 2 days with a full pack the day before completion. A huge shout out to our moving team of Daniel, Jose, Diego and Nelson. Absolutely nothing was a problem for them and they completed virtually all of the packing and half loading by 4pm. Then on moving day they were all done and out by 11am, incredible! This gave us plenty of time to clean before handing over our keys. On arrival at our new home they were extremely careful with everything and constructed all of our furniture perfectly and rapidly. Again nothing was a problem including helping to move items into a garden office room. Can’t recommend Cabendish highly enough, simply superb :)
Cavendish & Country provided an excellent and efficient service with our move. The moving team were all polite and helpful. We were down sizing from a large house to a smaller flat, so packing took place the day before the actual move. All fragile items and furniture were packed to a high standard. The move day was very efficient and all was unloaded in about four hours. They took a very large sofa out through a first floor window as it was too large for the stairs and then carried it up three flights of stairs at the other end. We were very pleased with the service we received.
Couldn't recommend this business enough. Super professional throughout, a good price and all round good people to do business with. The quotation process was smooth, good online documentation & contracting and the team that came to do the work were really excellent. Personable, good characters, cracked on with the job, all the house and contents protection equipment you could hope for and everything shifted on time, on budget and with no breakages. A great crew and a great service. 4 guys plus a leader worked to move us out of our 2 bed/1 bath. Cleared it out in about 3 hours, took a very efficient lunch break, and moved us carefully into our new home. Nice to chat with, and were very mindful in their work. Especially liked the mover Alex, who did a very thoughtful job in loading and unloading our bedroom. Would hire them again.
We were very impressed by the service that Cavendish & Country offered. They gave us good advice and were reasonably priced. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and they were lovely people to deal with.
One cannot find a better service. C&C give such confidence that on the day packing started I was able to host my cousins for lunch elsewhere. They go above & beyond and truly put the kind of intelligence into the move as if it were their own house. The stress this removes is priceless. We’ve used this company now for the second time after having used them back in 2020 within London. We were impressed with their professionalism last time but because this one was a bigger move (leaving London), we thought it would be on the more expensive end. To our surprise the price was extremely competitive, so the choice was an easy one. Just like last time, the team handled everything with upmost care and the move was done swiftly. This will be our moving company going forward. Highly recommend!
I had a challenging house move - down sizing from 7 bedrooms to four. Christian was incredible at suggesting solutions when a particularly large piece of furniture didn’t fit where planned. Throughout the three day move everyone worked tirelessly. I was also extremely impressed when, in the last day, my tv stand arrived via Amazon and the guys stayed to assemble it - just one example of how the team went above and beyond. I’ll be moving again in about six months and will certainly be looking to use Cavendish and Country Removals again.
The C&C team were brilliant - polite, careful and incredibly efficient. I didn’t honestly believe that they could pack up our place up and move it in the short time they did but they exceeded expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and in fact already have twice.
I recently moved house using Cavendish & Country and can 100% recommend the company. Their staff were all charming, polite and acutely aware of just how stressful a family move can be. They packed everything up beautifully, and amazingly not one item was broken or damaged in transit. Everything was unloaded and reassembled efficiently. Will definitely be using again for my next move!
We recently moved from Hackney to Waltham Forest and Nick and his team have been professional, efficient and also very friendly since day 1! They really put us at ease and something I was quite scared of became something I would say was almost enjoyable! I also want to highlight how helpful and responsive Norbert and his team were when we found a “few surprises” in our new place. I honestly could not recommend Cavendish & Country Removals more.
Our experience with Cavendish was a good one. Nick was helpful, flexible and professional when organising our move - working with us around delays and other challenges. On the day of the move itself, the team on the ground (Peter, Daniel, Ishvan and Jose) were swift, efficient, considerate, friendly and incredibly patient - as we had to wait a while for our keys. We couldn’t have hoped for better service and it made a stressful process much more bearable.
My removal with Cavendish & Country went smooth from beginning to end. Nick and Damian came in person to assess my stuff which was really helpful as I didn't have the usual house removal but more like an artist studio removal. Their assessment of the volume and the vans/trucks needed was perfectly accurate. I voluntarily did most of my wrapping and packing, but Richard and a colleague came to help me at the end. There were 4 of them to load the trucks. Richard is excellent at wrapping fragile art and they all bring their good mood to this demanding and tiring job. Everything have been on time, nothing damaged (they use the best wrapping material) or lost, and they efficiently did all the paper work needed for a move London to France. I recommend without hesitation.
Cavendish & Country were excellent from start to finish. Their communication was brilliant and they provided a reasonable quote. Furthermore, the actual moving process went like clockwork. The team were so kind, reassuring and efficient and took all the stress out of the moving process. We could not recommend Cavendish & Country more highly and are so grateful for their help.

I engaged this firm to help with back to back moves of our office and our house. Very happy with the service - courteous, punctual and professional - they did a great job at getting everything very neatly and without issue to destination. They were also very efficient loading and unloading so the days were not as long as we had been expecting which was great. Recommended!
I had a last minute chance to buy an amazing range cooker but it needed picking up almost immediately. This company pulled out all the stops to work with me to make it happen. They couldn't pick up and deliver in one day but stored it for us all very professionally wrapped. The guys that delivered it were so helpful the access to our kitchen was so awkward but again nothing was too much trouble! I would highly recommend this company and would certainly use them if I were to move

I contacted Cavendish and Country for a quote for a move from London to Oxford, a good few weeks in advance of our moving date. Had a long (45minish) facetime with them which involved showing them our property and contents. Was told they would come back to me with a quote - which was never received. I sent a follow up email after a few days of silence - and heard nothing back from that either. Unprofessional.
Cavendish&Country took the stress out of our move. The team arrived the day before moving day and we so efficient. They dismantled beds, furniture and carefully wrapped all of our fragile items (mirrors, ornaments, pictures, kitchen, TVs) and much more! Then the next day everything was placed in the right room and reassembled. Everything survived the move in tact, thanks to extra careful packing. They were also super friendly and just generally so helpful, I would recommend Cavendish&Country to anyone planning a move.
