Absolutely fantastic service moved my Dad and very accommodating with his needs due to his frailty. We opted for the packing and removal service. Nothing was too much trouble and all the team were polite and professional. Highly recommended.
Excellent service from initial visit by David to quote, to moving day, very close to Christmas, when all went smoothly from start to finish. Friendly, professional and helpful team. Nothing was too much trouble and made a stressful day very easy. Very happy with service provided and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
We can not rate the crew at Camp Hopson Removals highly enough. We opted for the packing and removal service which was fantastic! Bruce our packer did his job professionally and efficiently taking into consideration any instructions we gave him. We were so impressed with Craig who together with his crew were faultless in packing away our home. Again, they were so accommodating ensuring that any instructions we gave were followed. Nothing was onerous especially large and heavy items of furniture. Unfortunately because of unforeseen circumstances our move was delayed and we received the keys to our new home much later in the day than expected. Camp Hopson pulled out all the stops, putting two crews on site to make sure we got all everything safely unpacked, furniture assembled and put exactly where we wanted it to go. The teams were amazing and I would not hesitate in recommending Camp Hopson Removals.
Effecient, professional and friendly. This move was a huge task for my father age 89 and moving from the family home of 55 years. From the visit to quote to the final garden pot being off loaded the team were fantastic - patient, good humour and thoughtful. Absolutely we would recommend.
Superb service, we got stuck with our original movers not being available for the dates we needed. So all a bit last minute we phoned Camp Hopson and quite frankly I'm glad the original movers where unavailable as the service we received was spot. After our initial contact they sent out David the following day to complete a servay for a quote, he was friendly and very efficient and by 5 o'clock that day we had a quote, which was incredibly reasonable priced. I phoned the office the following morning to book us in and after a short phone call we where all set. Moving day arrived and our 3 man crew turned up spot on time. All 3 where very friendly and obliging. They made swift work of loading the lorry and showed real care in how they handled all our stuff. Once loaded they disappeared off and they instructed us to just simply call once we had the keys to our new home. Once we had the keys and met the truck at the house. Once again the crew swiftly unloaded the lorry carefully placing everything in the rooms where we wanted. I really can't fault the service or the price, if your looking for movers don't bother with anyone else just go with Camp Hopson

Camp Hopson were possibly the most stress free part of our move, a last minute exchange to completion date after months of maybes and willing to stick with a quote they gave almost 6 months prior. I can't fault the quote service, the booking team(Jo and Gemma) , or the packing and moving guys. Excellent service throughout and well worth the money. Would recommend to anyone.
We had a very disappointing service from Camp Hopson Removals Ltd. We purchased packing, moving, storage, and insurance services from the company. We were initially encouraged to work with them based on the positive reviews online. - Several pieces of expensive furniture were damaged in their storage - wooden furniture both new and heirloom came back desiccated, with discolouration, serious cracking and fissures. Some of the furniture was of high sentimental value and irreplaceable (passed down the family), some was new furniture from places like Oka and Andrew Martin - Furnishings were damaged due to being poorly packed, with members of their own crew expressing disappointment that the job was done badly. Some of the crew were great and professional, others seemed poorly trained - At our old property, Camp Hopson upset neighbours by leaving a lorry engine running all morning on our drive. They left rubbish on site and we found one of our en suite bathrooms in an unforgivable state - At our new property, which had just been redecorated, they marked and dented walls, ceilings, doors, metal window frames, and steps - They changed the move-in days without advance warning or request. We’d booked time off work and organised things for the agreed move-in days. It was a highly stressful situation for everyone, with the crew visibly exhausted and rushing, which led to yet more damage to our belongings and home - Working with them, we realised how many key details and extra charges they hid in the small print or simply failed to inform us about. For example, they used the provided debit card to take money from our bank account without our express consent We raised the matters with management, and they offered no proper apology or compensation. They dragged things out, later informing us that it was now too late to claim on the insurance we’d paid for. They even failed to provide insurance details on request. Camp Hopson is part of the Master Removals Group, who never responded to our complaints. We’ve moved three times in the past 10 years. Our prior removals experiences were good. This one was very negative and very expensive. Our bill with Camp Hopson was several £000s, and the damages were further £000s - none of which we were compensated for, in spite of purchasing insurance with them. We deeply regret trusting the positive reviews online.
Useful info for prospective customers- We spent time completing a detailed quote and researching this company, however they only serve customers who live in and are moving out of Newbury? As we are moving to Newbury (from approx. 40 mins away) they cannot complete our move. Seems strange and previous customer reviews are contrary to this policy, but don’t bother asking for a quote from this company unless you’re moving out of Newbury.
This was a very emotional house move for us, leaving what had been our home for 20 years where we'd brought up our family. Without the very professional approach of the Camp Hopson team it could have been very much more difficult. A member of staff came to the house, assessed the scope of the work and gave us a plan and quotation. That plan was adapted when our situation changed - we had to move our house contents into storage rather than into our new house. The removals team were friendly and approachable, followed the plan, but were also flexible enough to make adjustments as requested. We have no hesitation in recommending them 100 percent.
We had Camp Hopson move us from one 4-bed house in Oxfordshire to another in Pembrokeshire, 200 miles away, and they provided an absolutely fantastic service. Jo Sugden was a pleasure to communicate and stay in contact with and Craig Allen provided a comprehensive, competitive quote and then he and the guys worked really, really hard loading us up on the one day, travelling to the new home and getting us unloaded the next day and then checking in with us on day three to make sure nothing was left undone. They worked tirelessly and with such great humour, they were a joy to entrust all our worldly possessions with!
Camp Hopson office and removal guys were great before and during our removal. They turned up promptly and moved everything carefully and quickly. The unpacking at the other end was the same. All our belongings were placed where we asked and even asked if we needed anything moving when they returned the following day to finish off. Thank you
Outstanding Removals company. The office staff were friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to fit me in on the day I needed to move despite being fully boooked. The Removals crew headed up by Josh were also amazing; great guys who were super friendly, exceptionally hard-working and meticulously organised - a really professional, slick operation despite the atrocious weather on the day. Really impressed with the whole experience and so grateful to have had such a fantastic crew - made the whole process as stress-free as a move can be. Thank you!
We can’t recommend the Camp Hopson team enough! They turned up at 8am sharp, and had the whole house packed on the truck in no time at all. Moving in to the new house was equally professional, and swift. Would gladly use them again!

Absolutely the best removal company I've ever used right down to the staff in the office. The removal crew were very hard working, hardly taking a break over 5 days. They were unbelievably helpful. efficient, tidy, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend them.
Our team of three movers, Jay, Samuel and Peter, did a great job packing and moving our furniture and possessions from our old flat to our new home. Peter was amazing at dismantling and reassembling our IKEA double wardrobe and sofa bed, and in the house he also dismantled a double bed and reassembled it in a different room. All three were good-humoured and diligent, and as I had the keys already they were finished by 3:30pm. Thank you for your hard work!
Thank you to Camp Hopson who's removal team came a day before to pack, providing great quality boxes and packaging material. On moving day the whole team were friendly, accommodating, and fun to watch work together. They make a great team, who are very effective and careful. Being heavily pregnant we needed a reliable team, so thank you again, for a seamless moving experience!

All my contacts with the staff were very satisfactory. They were helpful and knowledgeable on all occasions. Removal day was the hottest of the year and there were problems with the exchange of contract but the crew were helpful and most understanding. I would have no hesitation in recommending Camp Hopson to anyone.
This company is possibly the best removals that we have ever had. We have moved 5 times in ten years and have had some pretty bad experiences, so I had concerns in the back of my mind. However, the moving day went very very smoothly. The movers were very competent, kind, respectful of our furniture and the fact that we had to move in the first place. I know our stuff will be stored with respect until we need to move into our new place. If you think about a company that is great at what they do, then consider them.

We had a lot of boxes and furniture to pack up and move. We had the same crew for three days, who did an amazing job of packing up our old house and moving us into the new one. They were excellent.
