Very professional movers, efficient, friendly and punctual. I noticed that they handled each box and piece of furniture with care and attention. Side note: It would have been useful to have an estimated offloading time from van-to-storage included on the quote as well as it only included time spent removing my belongings so the final price came as a surprise. Regardless, I would highly recommend this company.

\"Missing items\" not covered
Disappointed to report that two items went missing including a spare iPhone. Discovered after 5 weeks having unpacked everything and thoroughly checking. Best Rate has a 7 day claim policy and cited terms & conditions such that they do not "move" mobile phones and several other items including computing devices. Had I known they don't handle such goods I'd have personally moved them. Had I known they don't trust their staff with high value items, I'd have used another company. Book with caution!
Snooker table removal

Genuinely amazing service! Arrived early, were amazingly helpful and friendly - gave us advice on our last minute packing - and then beat us to Leeds by 30 mins!! The quote was maybe a bit optimistic (but I'd already factored in a couple of extra hours into my budget on top of the quote so was prepared and still thought it was well priced!) And the guys at the end of the phone kindly offered a discount. I cant recommend them enough! In fact I have already recommended them to a friend!

I wasn’t happy with the service and I won’t ever use it again.
Absolutely brilliant service. Couldn't fault them. Fantastically efficient. Really polite, kind and helpful team. I thought they were excellent and would highly recommend them.
Won’t recommend. Initially their quote will look lesser than others but on the job they charge extras. We ended up paying double than the quote. Staff too slow, they purposely take extra time. don’t pack with them.they packed each box half empty-very lightly so that more boxes will be used. Charged more than extra hours they spent at property. It took 4.5 hours including half n hr lunch time. but the exec on phone first calculated 5 hours and then cutting lunch time we will have to pay for 4.5 hours as if he was giving us half b hr discount. And he charged including VAR while we had agreed in advance that for cash payments VAT is not included. For the service of £335/- including the count of boxes they charged us £400/- Plus the sales person said to me you can use 2nd hand box for £1/- each but will send you the quote with new prices so i overlooked the section. After the job they charged me quote price + vat. Also they said initially you will pay final price without VAT. But deducted VAT from the booking amount paid online after we discussed that wont go towards VAT Please don’t use their services.
Fantastic and adaptable removers
Professional, friendly, and adaptable. I could not recommend more highly any removal company. Due to some last minute changes, the scope of our move increased, but Best Rate adapted quickly and for a fair price. The move was efficient, and I will use them again whenever moving house.

I have used both services of moving and end of tenancy cleaning. I have booked them for the same day and all people involved have showed up exactly on time!The moving went so smoothly and I didn't help lift a thing. Both men have carried the boxes very carefully, and the whole move was under 2.5 hours. I moved from east to south west London. They were really nice and very efficient.The flat I left was cleaned so thoroughly! I left the flat in a better condition than the one I got it. Even my landlord was impressed and asked for the details for future cleaning.Thank you so much for your wonderful service! I need to move flats again soon unfortunately, and already have peace of mind knowing I will book the services again fro this company.

Worst Removal company ever
Please don’t trust this organisation for any of your valuable items. Simply they don’t care or know how to do professional moving service. After paying full amount in advance and being told their movers will pack; I was greeted with two men with seemingly no experience of packing. Most if items were already packed except fragile ones. They did not have a single box or rapping material. To make matters worse the office was not open at 09:00am, when they finally managed to open the office the person who I spoke to could not be unpleasant enough. He even had the audacity to threaten me with a legal action; if I gave negative review. As I could not trust them I had to cancel the move; of ours I have no hope of getting a refund! So stay away from this company don’t be fulled by the shiny website.

The office double checked my requirements just to make sure. The guys turned up exactly on time, they worked really REALLY hard, barely taking any breaks, were polite, careful and respectful of us and our belongings at all times. Highly recommended!
Great removals but lack of communication.
I had a really positive start with Best rate removals in the initial stages of Enquiries and their customer services were very efficient with giving me a quote. However, I am slightly disappointed in the lack of communication on the day of removal. I was notified late afternoon before the day of removal that my appointment had been moved from 09.00 to 13.00 which I appreciate things happen resulting in changes of time, but I had to rearrange plans of receiving furniture at the other end of my move. 13.00 arrived on the day of removal, and no sign of the van, so I gave the benefit of the doubt for traffic etc, but no one called me to say the drivers were running late, by which point I had to call the phone number on their website at 13.30 to ask where they were. The man on the other end of the phone said that they were delayed and would be with me within 20 mins. Another 45 mins passed and still no sign, so another call was made and was told they were 5 mins away. The drivers eventually turned up at 14.30 (1.5 hours late!), and they did not even have the decency to apologise for being late. However, they did a great job at both ends.I had really high hopes following reading positive reviews online, but feel very let down especially as you would appreciate added stress of moving house.I was charged an extra £180 on top of the 3 hours they had originally quoted me, but I feel like this might have been avoided if times had been stuck to. I sent a follow up email to the man I dealt with in the initial stages but I have not had a reply.
Would Recommend to a Friend
I recently used Best Rate to move a family of four from a two bedroom first floor flat to a third floor one without a lift (with the bedrooms being one more flight up). The team was so hardworking and did so with a friendly smile even after 100 flights. They charged a reasonable rate, were bang on time and got the job done faster than I would have expected. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, or to recommend them to a friend.

Best Rate Removals were absolutely excellent
Best Rate Removals were absolutely excellent at delivering our house move recently. They were so professional as well as being very diligent in packing up all areas of our home. Whilst doing it so carefully, they were also very mindful and supportive towards us during the move and made everything feel much less stressful than we anticipated. I wouldn’t move home without them in future. I Can really recommend them highly.
They do it all!
I wasn’t too sure about how to plan moving, cleaning, and painting. I didn’t realize they can coordinate everything for after tenancy planning. Best Rate had everything under control and made me feel confident about how to organize and schedule the actions to happen at the right time. Special tribute to Dilyana who is world class in customer service. What I didn’t know she was able to find out and sort it. I will hope to use them in the future. Great job guys and gals!
I used Best Rate Removals for my home removal and the quality of storage and packing is shockingly poor, not to mention the service was also 7 hours late! Nearly every single piece of my furniture was scratched, chipped or damaged in different level. I was told by the delivery team of Best Rate Removals that the mattress was basically left exposed and uncovered in the storage the whole time, and it came dirty, stained and frame damaged...I am now trying to get in touch with the company for making claims and guess what, my emails have been completely ignored, when I know for fact that they normally respond very quickly before the completion of the job! It is unbelievable how poor their service is, despite the charge wasn't cheap at all!!
I have used Best Rate Removals two times and continue to be impressed with their service. They arrived on time and although it took longer than planned thanks to a big sofa and small door they did not disappoint. They had logical ideas - were professional, fast and above all communicated very well. I will use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them either. Thanks again!

Moved my worldly goods out of 4th floor flat (with lift) into 4th floor flat (no lift�): tirelessly carried furniture, fridge freezer n countless boxes of books up 60 stairs on a hot, sunny afternoon.
