Excellent communication from start to finish. They arrived a few minutes early and loaded quickly, taking care with all of our items. The lads let my children watch their prized possessions being loaded and were very friendly towards us and them. They had a 270 mile journey to make and our items all arrived safely at the other end. They unloaded in torrential rain without a fuss and took care of our property at the other end too. Really pleased with their service and would recommend to anyone, short or long distance.
A really thorough and professional experience from the initial point of contact to the final box being carried off the van. Not only was the loading and unloading very quick, the guys also did it with a smile on their faces, laughing constantly, which was a nice bonus on what was an otherwise stressful day. Cannot recommend these guys enough!
We are a family of 6 with a young baby so needed a trouble free transition to our new home. Allen family removals provided us with a reliable, friendly and excellent service. Their packing service was efficient and tidy, with everything very well protected. And move day was very smooth thanks to a great team who were outstanding from start to finish. Would definitely recommend to others.
Well what can I say…. Stephan and his team were amazing from start to finish…. From the first phone call, Stephan gained my trust, came round and quoted for our requirements. The quote was realistic and within budget (not like some we had had). We reserved a date, but as always there were delays and we had to postpone for a week. Stephan again worked his magic and the new date was confirmed. All questions were answered positively and promptly. On the day of the move, 4 men, 2 trucks arrived on time and worked so quickly and efficiently (you could tell they had done it before). Nothing was too much trouble and before we knew it 10 years of life was packed away into the trucks. Ready for the next move….. There was a slight break, whilst we waited for keys to new property and once we called the trucks arrived at the new property and all boxes were recovered, large items were placed in the appropriate rooms and the job was done. I would recommend this company all day long, they made the job look so easy and we had quite a few laughs along the way. There was no rushing, our possessions were handled with extreme care. We hired Stephen's team to help us with our house move. Great communication from start to end. The team helped protect the furniture and looked after fragile items. Kieryn, Richard and Luke helped out with our move and were very helpful and professional, a 5 star service.
We just moved with Allen removals. The day went very smoothly, everything was moved and placed as requested. The guys dismantled and reassembled some of our furniture which was absolutely worth the small extra cost. They were all really friendly and polite. I’d recommend this company and would use them again. Thank you!
Fantastic service! Cannot fault it. From start to finish the service was incredible with replying to messages at all hours, to explaining the process in clear ways. I’ve never seen people work so hard as they did when packing and moving us. They were so kind and patient, any time it was a baby item they asked if it was ok to pack or if it was needed. They battled through the snow to move us swiftly and easily. They say moving house is one of the most stressful things, but this made it so easy and simple! Highly highly recommend!
Amazing experience !! Totally professional from asking for a quote and on the day they went above and beyond Took excellent care of our personal items and furniture covering everything and protecting all of our items. I cannot recommend them high enough Anyone that books them for their removals would not be disappointed. We will definitely use their services again Thank you for everything you did for us.
I requested a quote initially through Compare My Move and Stephen was in touch promptly with information regarding my moving requirements. We were provided with boxes in advance of our move. On the day of the move, the team arrived and were professional and took great care to wrap up our furniture and TVs to make sure they were protected during transit. When we got to our new property everything was unloaded carefully with furniture in our desired rooms. I’m glad that we picked Allen Family removals over a big commercial moving chain as I know we would have not got the quality of service we got with Allen family.
The service was very good. The guys worked hard and were responsive to the requests made. The were careful with all the goods and placed them in correct place. Ours was a long distance move and they made allowance for our getting to the other side despite the time delay. Would recommend them definitely.
Excellent service from Allen Family Removals! Great bunch of lads, hard workers and brilliant at what they do. Would certainly recommend to anyone moving house. Stephen was great at talking us through the process of removal and provided a clear, itemised quote giving great understanding of the costs involved.
The lads were fantastic. Everything was loaded well onto the trucks and they even solved the issue of getting the awkward wardrobe downstairs. At the new house they put everything where we wanted it and even stacked the stuff into the shed for us. The whole move went very smoothly. It was a much better process than I'd imagined- had never used a removal company before. They were all polite and good humoured and really efficient. There was clearly good camaraderie between them too which facilitated the move as there was a positive atmosphere. They did a great job. Highly recommend. Ally .
Stephen’s team took the total stress out of moving. Did everything asked of them and took care of lots of extras on the side without charging extra and with a big smile. I couldn’t recommend them more! We took the full service with packing and nothing was damaged or lost. Their service and flexibility was a breath of fresh air!

This company was bang on! Owning my own business and using numerous removal services over the years this company was by far the best! Not only were they extremely approachable but the service actually matched up to the reviews on the day. The 3 guys that completed my move Jason, Don & Brandon were on time, polite and professional. They were humorous and clearly enjoyed what they do protected my valuables extremely well and nothing was to much trouble. Top job guys would definitively use again if needed! David
Outstanding service from the lads who helped us move yesterday. Arriving bang on time they worked tirelessly for hours to get the vans packed up for our last minute move. They were kind and courteous when problems with the house completion held them up for almost 2 hours, and unloaded everything with the same care and attention they gave to getting it in the van in the first place, working well into the evening to get it done. Couldn't have asked for better. Thank you so much.
Amazing company! Nothing was too much trouble for Jason, Sean and Luke when they helped me move. They went above and beyond throughout the day and were very professional. They also dismantled all my bedroom furniture and rebuild it at the property. They made my move stress free and I can not thank them enough. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Very good price - was quoted much higher from other local firms. They even delivered extra packing material to me the day before as I had ran out!
